Clash of Alliances Event

We are playing as the middle-east and orient. All the locations have been picked, and now we just have to wait till the map goes online at the start time.

Alright, lets have some strategies set up. First things first:
Build a barracks in each industrial province, level 1 infrastructure in all others, then it's your choice to upgrade the industrial centres with infrastructure for armour, or building troops. Be aware manpower becomes an issue quickly, so try not to throw too much resources into building infantry. When fighting AIs remember to use the artillery to bait and kill during your offline periods, it drastically reduces casualties taken.
Air power is going to be key, so let's make sure we have everything we need.

I will play any country that the others do not want, I am not picky, but patient, diligent, and very active I am :-)

I would suggest listing your provinces by manpower production in the provinces panel, and starting from the top do about 5-6 down with barracks.  That way you will get the most man power per hour.  The plus side is i promise it will line up with a few of your IC's.

That's just my opinion though.

I'll take Saudi Arabia, if no one else wants it.

Picking isn't mandatory, it just gives you a little more to plan with.
And that's a good point about the barracks too, although I have found that if it produces less than 500 manpower, it's not really upgrading above it till later in the game.

Nope, still happening, just waiting for what's his name to get back on holiday on the 10th, still scheduled for the 14th

There is currently an issue with a player of another alliance taking Syria,  sucks to be him, since the rest of his alliance is in america. Go get 'em lads.

It won't let me join alliance 7. Have to wait for more players to join other alliances I think.

We are now restarting due to players on some of the other teams making massive mistakes.
